Not recommended for foreigners, the owner asked me how I felt when I came out of the tour, and when I said I didn't know much about it, the owner immediately got a bad look on his face and started kicking us out. In the lobby there are a few tables with old games on them, we tried to play, the owner said you are not a child anymore, hurry up and go. But meanwhile there were many other Japanese adults playing.
My husband and I stopped by on a drive. First, when you pass through a space that recreates a nostalgic Showa townscape, you will arrive at a rickshaw exhibition space. It is very rare to see a rickshaw on display.
There were many valuable things.
It has been well kept and feels very nostalgic.
You can enjoy the good old Showa era.
I would also like to thank the wonderful director 🙇 …
There was an automatic ticket vending machine at the entrance, and after purchasing a ticket, I was able to enter the museum by putting my dog in the carrier I had brought with me.
Although I was born in the Showa era, there were still things I didn't understand, but I felt nostalgic as there were many things that used to be in my grandmother's house.
It was so impressive that I thought it would be difficult to collect and preserve all these things.
Although you are not allowed to touch the inside, you are allowed to take pictures, and after taking a look inside the building, the staff took a picture of us at the rickshaw!
It was a lot of fun. thank you very much.
I went on a rainy weekday.
There was one group of customers.
Purchase a ticket from a vending machine to enter the museum.
1000 yen per adult.
I wasn't born in the Showa era, but I like retro places, so I went there.
There were many things I had never seen before, but it was a calming space.
There were also many photogenic spots. You can also sit at the bathhouse counter.
You can see that the study tools and kitchen were carefully arranged, and even the small items were neatly preserved.
There was also a black and white movie theater showing the Tokyo Olympics.
The director was a friendly and interesting person!
He said the rickshaw was his personal property.
We also had a photo taken as a souvenir!
You can even ride a rickshaw and take a commemorative photo.
When I told them it was my birthday, they each gave me a song from the jukebox.
We selected "UFO" and "240 Million Eyes".
The sound quality was very good!
I had a great time ^^ Thank you!
A treasure trove of Showa retro items. For those born in the Showa era, it brings a lot of nostalgia and comfort. The director is also a nice person, with a quick wit and a frank talk that makes you feel comfortable.
The navigation only gave me directions to the vicinity of this place, but I was able to enjoy the Showa era💮⤴️🙆
Nostalgic items and nostalgic records⤴️Movie posters⤴️🙆 etc.
Please try it once⤴️🙆It was fun
Recommended for anyone who lived even a little bit during the Showa era. I also think that young people who don't know anything about the Showa period will be interested.
There are nostalgic rooms and cityscapes, and you can also enjoy the Tokyo Olympics movie (slide type).
The manager was energetic and funny, and encouraged us to take a commemorative photo while riding a rickshaw, and even gave us instructions on how to do so.
